Announcing The Nordic 100 2018

The Nordic 100 is an annual list recognising the 100 most impactful and influential figures in the Nordic tech scene each year. Individuals at the forefront of shaping and positioning the region as one of the world’s most important innovation hubs.

We recognise investors, entrepreneurs and community builders that are playing important roles in the region and are influencing what tomorrow looks like in the Nordics, and indeed the world.

2018 is the third edition and The Nordic 100 is now firmly established as the main resource for engaging with who’s who in the Nordic ecosystem all year round.

In 2017, we produced and distributed 1,000 physical copies while over 20,000 individuals viewed The Nordic 100 online.

This year, we are setting our sights even higher and want to double the reach and impact. We are very happy that we secured like-minded collaborators who can help us achieve that and take The Nordic 100 to new heights, with Slush, StartupGuide, +Impact and The Hub all onboard as partners.

As was the case in 2017, we only highlight individuals not organisations, and present them in alphabetical order. This year we’ve added accompanying tags and information on their background and expertise to ensure that this resource is as useful as possible to those looking to engage with the Nordic ecosystem.

Over 400 individuals were nominated and considered for this year’s list by our judging panel, before the jury whittled them down to a nice round 100.

A big thank you to Anne Worsøe, Sophia Bendz, Andreas Saari and Robin Wauters who joined me on the judging panel this year and of course, a big thank you to you for reading.
