Introducing The Nordic Web Subscriber Events

Since our shift to being a members-only site in January, we have been thinking long and hard about how we can ensure we provide the maximum value to those that are paying to be a subscriber of The Nordic Web.

Through our daily analyses, weekly newsletter and our Slack community, we believe that we represent strong value for money for those who are looking for unique and comprehensive insight and analysis into the Nordic tech and startup scene.

However, we are also aware that $19.99 per month or $199.99 per year is a fairly sizeable amount and we therefore want to strive to offer even more value to our members and of course to make it even more attractive in becoming a member in the first place.

Therefore, with our friend Robin Wauters from Tech.eu in Copenhagen (for the very first time!) we thought it was the opportune moment to hold our first ever The Nordic Web subscriber meetup.

The event will be very informal, and will be centered around an open discussion rather than the audience being talked at.

We are well aware that our subscribers are insightful and experienced professionals, and can provide real value to the conversation, which is why we want to take advantage of that with this format.

The conversation will be initiated and moderated by Robin Wauters of Tech.eu and will be focused on European and Nordic investment trends that Robin and myself have seen over the last six months. Initial topics we will focus on are geographies, verticals and investment amounts, however, this is an open discussion and we will allow it the flexibility something as wide-ranging as this topic requires.

As this is a breakfast event, we will be providing coffee and croissants, to fuel your stomachs in return for you fuelling the discussion.

We want to keep this an intimate event, as we believe this is needed to make this format work, therefore we will be capping the event at 25 participants. Therefore, please only sign up for a ticket if you are certain you can make the event. (All members have received an email to sign-up)

This is very-much an experiment, however, should the format work in the way we hope it will, we expect to be holding more regular subscriber meetups across the whole Nordic region throughout the rest of 2017, as we believe this can offer you additional value to being a member of The Nordic Web.
