With an ever-increasing amount of capital being deployed in the Nordics, it’s more important than ever for The Nordic Web to be tracking what is actually going on. As the interest in the Nordics increases, so will the investors, especially those who say they  are actively looking to invest in the region. However, there is a big difference between actively looking to invest and actively investing.

In order to get an idea of those that are actually backing the next wave of potential Nordic ‘unicorns’, we analysed all of the investments we tracked in 2015, and calculated who the ten most active investors into Nordic startups were in 2015.

We looked at where they are headquartered, detailed all of their investments, with round size, HQ of company and vertical, analysed their median round size, the range of the rounds they were involved in and their top 3 investments.

We also sort them by median round size and the countries they invested in, before offering some final conclusions.
